Anna-- Exactly!!

Bernita--Thanks! :) Coming from you, that means a lot!

Bonnie--Your comment sorta relates to my next post, that once the hero/heroine get together, I expect them to remain chaste until married. Even Christians have checkered pasts--it's their actions after being saved and forgiven that are important.

And I definitely agree with you about emotional rather than only physical (I think of it as love vs. lust--I'm writing on that for my 3rd post on this topic :).

I understand the secular viewpoint on sex but I write Christian fiction. In christian fiction both the hero and heroine are expected to remain virginal until marriage.

Even in marriage, sex must occur off stage. And if there are any 'intimate scenes" it should be from an emotional standpoint rather than desire.

I say all that to say virginal male characters seem perfectly normal to me! And most are very strong and virile!

Fabulous article, and I totally agree. Wouldn't the true sexual rebel in the current climate be the one who's a virgin and proud of it? Future spouse gets alllllllllll the tea and crumpets, so no sampling, please. Makes for some great sexual tension, if you ask me. I rather enjoy closing the bedroom door on the h/h and whispering "you two have fun, see you in the morning."
