Hitting the Books

I’ve been such a bad writer. To those of you who keep dropping in to check on my posts, I apologize. Life’s just been crazier than usual, and somethings have had to fall by the wayside. Unfortunately, the big thing that went kersplat was my writing time. Both blogging and actual writing.

So I’ve decided rather than feel guilty every time I look at my computer, I’ll take a brief vacation (hopefully no more than a month) from the whole writing thing and focus on getting a few other things under control. I really admire those supermoms who manage to keep writing and keep the family running mostly smoothly; I just haven’t gotten the hang of that yet.

After a few weeks things should calm down a bit. By then my muse will probably come out of hiding, or I’ll have the energy to go looking for her, or else my characters will form a posse, come hunting for me, and drag me back to the notebook/keyboard. That’s what usually happens when I don’t write for a long while.
