I have never been so into reading before I got a hold of these books. I have yet to read the third one because I cant find it anywhere. And I am going crazy wondering what is going to happen with Hannah.I just hope the third one dont end on a note that keeps me wondering.Ever since I started reading these books it has made me kind of want to leave my Englisher lifestyle and move into the Plain life,as demanding as it may be.Although my only problem would be wearing those clothes. But it would be worth it if I could run into someone like Hannah.I guess everyone I work with is right I do have an Amish fetish,I cant help it I love these books. Dont stop writing, come out with another series.

I actually missed the Amish reference on first reading, but remembered "shunned" from some books I read my kids years back. I like books that people recommend that are so good you read them in one sitting.

Have a rec for you: El Tigre, which takes place in the 19th century from Prussia to the American frontier. ("El Tigre" is a nickname for a "jaguar," which tells you a lot about the main character.) There's a romance/love interest, lots of action and a good bit of history that you don't notice you're acquiring because you're not hit over the head with it. It's good for young adults/teens and adults. And the hero has a good heart, which I like. It's well paced and well-written -- a great read.
